Fiona is a Certified Practitioner in Hypnotherapy & Psychological Therapies, operating in Cheshire. She graduated with “The Academy of Clinical & Medical Hypnosis, London UK” in 2011 obtaining Diploma D.hyp & Higher Practitioner Diploma in Hypnotherapy HDP. A clinical hypnotherapist performs in a clinical setting/ environment or in the treatment of medical/ psychological conditions, which differs from solution focused hypnotherapy.
Fiona who is originally from Chester UK is in her mid 40's and has worked in the corporate world for approx 10 years previous to her graduation. Since graduation Fiona applied herself to a career working in the area of Applied Behavioural Analysis as an ABA Tutor both in a school setting (ASD Unit) and continues to work in early intervention and on home programmes for students who have a primary diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Challenging Behaviour, dealing with anxiety disorders, repetitive behaviours & phobias.
Fiona is passionate about positive mental health which reflects in her life, she enjoys offering her time to a number of charities.
Fiona volunteered for Cycle against Suicide in 2015/16 providing psychological support to cyclists during cycling events for people affected by depression & suicide, whilst helping to spread the message that "It's ok not to feel ok and It's ok to ask for help"...Psychological Support Team offering support in 2015 & 2016 whilst cycling 2,500k during a 2 week event around Ireland. The main objective of the Cycle is to raise awareness of the considerable help and supports that are available for anyone battling depression, self harm, at risk of suicide or those bereaved by suicide.
Alongside this, Fiona has a special interest in helping support people living with cancer. Fiona gained previous hands on experience volunteering in various counselling organisations and therapy groups – “Samaritans” and “The Solas Centre” which provides therapies to patients undergoing treatment for cancer.
Fiona volunteered at a leading cancer support therapy centre, in the Southern Ireland providing hypnotherapy & mindfulness techniques for people going through cancer treatment. Supporting people thrive in a time of the unknown. Fiona offers a reduction of 50% to people who are on their cancer journey, which also includes direct family members.

Fiona's background lies in the area of Psychology, after completing her primary Bsc degree (hons) in Psychology in (2007), she went on to do further research completing a Master’s of Science in Psychology specialising in –
